Latvia has the nine finalists that will participate in the national format to select its representative in Eurovision, Supernova 2020.
Last week the public broadcaster, LTV, announced the twenty six candidates shortlisted from all submission received and that participated in the live auditions.
A jury evaluated these auditions and chose the nine participants that LTV announced today. To vote the jury has considered not only the quality of the songs and the artists performance in the auditions, but also the reactions of each song in YouTube.
The six-times veteran Samanta Tina, will be in this final with her video being the most viewed with 40,000 views.
Also Katrīna Dimanta (Aarzemnieki, Latvia 2014) and Edgars Kreilis got the place, while Markus Rica didn't qualify in this seventh participation in the Latvian selection.

- Samanta Tina - “Still Breathing”
- Seleste - “Like Me”
The final of Supernova 2020 will be on February 8th.
